Becoming a Homeopath
Practitioner Course Continuing Studies

There will be eight 3-day weekends this year.

Student Clinic composes most of your in-class time in year four. You will continue to follow your Student Clinic patients from year three, giving you the opportunity to learn more about case management. You will also continue to see new patients in the Student Clinic. In addition, your Clinical Supervision  and Homeopathic Symposium studies carry forward.

In year four you will take 7 new cases under the guidance of your Supervisor. You will complete a minimum of 2 follow-ups for each of these cases, bringing your total of supervised cases from years three and four, to 10 new cases, each with 2 follow-ups.

Assessment will be based on your competence pertaining to all aspects of casetaking, case analysis, rapport with patients, and case management. For students showing difficulties in certain areas, additional cases and/or studies may be required before completing this year.

Included in this year is a session with Jude Dawson, a BC Homeopath with a flourishing practice, on how to set up and market your own homeopathic practice. Tips on efficient methods to manage your practice will also be discussed.

In Year Four you will be required to hand in a major project on an aspect of homeopathy.

Upon successful completion of the fourth year, a Diploma of Classical Homeopathy (DCH) will be granted.
